While I agree with what you're saying to a point, you're trying to put man on a pedestal just because he has been saved. Remember, and this is the point I was trying to make with the scripture, we are human beings that will make mistakes, whether it be by action or by the mouth. That's why the tongue was called an "unruly member", because often times it cannot be controlled.
No, we shouldn't use vulgar words as part of our everyday conversation if we're Christians, and we certainly shouldn't curse (using God's name in vain is cursing). But our very human nature will cause us to fail from time to time and issue words we shouldn't speak.

What I was trying to say was that once a person is born again the Holy Spirit will teach you what is right or wrong. No man should ever be put on a pedestal.
Should anyone say or act upon something that is sinful, then the Holy Spirit will show them that what they said or done or thought was wrong, therefore don't do it again. That was what I meant to say. There will never be a perfect man or woman. No matter how much we pray,fast or goto church. But God has made a way for man to live right and godly. One don't have to walk around saved and without knowledge, that is why God gives us his Holy Spirit.

Agreed. The whole point of Jesus paying the price for all sin was because man could not keep God's commands. That is no different today than in was in Old Testament times. The one difference is that although we fail and continue to sin, we now have a direct path to God in asking for and receiving forgiveness. The fact that we sin daily doesn't change, whether they be sins of commission or omission. Foul language should not be a part of the Christian's vocabulary, but hit your thumb with a hammer and repeat to me the words you utter. I just have a hard time understanding who deems something foul or wrong. The definition of these words are man made and created, as I have said most are not even rooted in our English language. Sayin I stepped in dig crap (poo, leftovers, excrement, fertilizer etc) and sayin I stepped in dog s hit are exactly the same, there is no difference other than the spelling.

Saying you stepped in dog poo instead of stepping in dog s hit may be the respect you have for the person to whom you are speaking.

Its a word, period. Describing an object. Its not right or wrong, I understand what your saying, but like I have said, time and place comes into play, but if someone says Poo or S hit, it doesnt make me think they are any a better or worse person.

To me, its like soda or pop.
